VERIFICATION PROTOCOL
Every ship guide on WAFFLE ADVERTISING LTD follows a three-step verification process. We never publish fabricated reviews, invented statistics, or unverified claims about restaurants, cabins, entertainment, or casino facilities.
We begin with current deck plans, cabin categories, gross tonnage, passenger capacity, and dining or entertainment listings published by the cruise line. Any figure that appears on this page must match those official sources.
Where possible, our editorial team walks the public decks, inspects representative cabins, and observes dining venues and the physical casino. This helps us describe atmosphere, layout, and practical accessibility rather than relying on marketing copy alone.
We compare our observations with verified passenger reviews and recent voyage reports. If a claim cannot be confirmed across at least two reliable sources, we remove it or clearly mark it as unconfirmed.

Full reviewDETAILED LOGBOOK
Pacific Aurora is a Solstice-class ship that balances large-ship energy with well-organised public spaces. The following review covers cabins, dining, entertainment, and the onboard casino based on verified specifications and recent onboard inspections.
Pacific Aurora offers 1,425 staterooms across four main categories: interior, oceanview, balcony, and suite. Interior cabins start at 15 square metres, while standard balcony cabins measure 18 square metres including the verandah. All cabins include a king-or-twin bed configuration, climate control, a mini-fridge, and a flat-screen television.
Accessible cabins are available in every category and must be booked directly with the cruise line to confirm specific bathroom configurations.
The ship has one main dining room, four complimentary casual venues, and five specialty restaurants. The main dining room operates on flexible dining with reservations recommended between 6:00 pm and 8:30 pm. Specialty restaurants include a steakhouse, an Italian trattoria, a pan-Asian kitchen, a French bistro, and a chef's table experience.
Reservations for specialty dining open 90 days before departure for suite guests and 60 days for all other passengers. Casual venues include a poolside grill, a pizzeria, a buffet, and a 24-hour café. Dietary requirements can be noted at booking and confirmed with the maître d' on embarkation day.
Pacific Aurora's two-level theatre seats 1,100 guests and presents two production shows per night on most sailings. Live music venues include a piano bar, a jazz lounge, and a poolside bandstand. The ship also has three outdoor pools, one adults-only pool, six whirlpools, a sports court, and a jogging track on deck 14.
The physical casino is located on deck 5, midship, and operates only while the ship is in international waters. It covers approximately 650 square metres and includes blackjack, roulette, poker, craps, and more than 180 slot machines. The casino has a smart-casual dress code after 6:00 pm and is restricted to guests aged 18 and over.
WAFFLE ADVERTISING LTD covers only physical onboard casino experiences. We do not provide information about online gambling, deposits, or player accounts.

NAVIGATION NOTES
Start with the size of the ship and the style of cruising you prefer. Large resort ships offer more dining and entertainment variety, while smaller ships can access ports that larger vessels cannot. Consider the itinerary first, then match the ship to the destinations.
Book early if you want a specific cabin category or a suite, especially on popular school-holiday departures. If you are flexible, last-minute fares can offer value, but cabin choice will be limited. Always confirm what is included in your fare before paying a deposit.
Choose a cabin location based on your sensitivity to movement. Midship cabins on lower decks tend to feel the least motion. If you are a light sleeper, avoid cabins directly below the pool deck or above the theatre.
